Teaching and Training

With a strong Background in Teaching and training Steve Walpole Ltd are able to bring a wide scope of offerings both professional and non-professional.

With teaching qualifications and training we can offer bespoke courses or training programs to suit. As a trained assessor for NVQ we are able to support on an educational platform. Steve also splits some of his time teaching in primary and secondary schools educating school children on the benefits and life skills involved in learning to cook and about food.

He has recently teamed up with the D&T teams to help support and train in schools about food. As an active member of the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts Steve regularly visits adopted schools and has also been a south east co coordinator for the Chefs Adopt a School Programme.

Steve can also be found teaching and running cookery days at Teaching schools up and down the country for the non-professional to kids cookery. He is currently supporting the Kent cookery school in Mersham.

Teaching and Training Steve has done:

  • Demonstration at Hotelolympia for CGOC
  • Regular demonstrations/classes – Smart Cookery School, Danbury
  • Regular demonstrations on British cuisine and general cooking – Mosimann Academy, The Braxted Park Cookery School and the food company Marks Tey
  • Demonstrations at a number of shows from the home show, vitality show and restaurant show
  • Co-written a professional training manual for the education industry about the basics of modern cookery
